    The North Shore Center is thrilled to be presenting the first ever Off North Shore: Skokie Music Festival, in partnership with the Village of Skokie and Skokie Park District. We have put together a Music Festival that we hope will provide both loyal and new patrons an opportunity to enjoy a variety of music and a great outdoor festival experience.

     

    THINGS TO KNOW

    • Upon arrival at the festival grounds, please follow the instructions of the traffic control and parking attendants to insure safe and efficient entry.
    • Tailgating is prohibited in the parking area. Alcohol consumption is only permitted inside the festival grounds, so head on in and enjoy yourselves. Please remember that underage drinking is not tolerated and Skokie PD will be notified, resulting in citations and removal from the festival without refund.
    • The festival will go on rain or shine. Please plan accordingly. Refunds will only be processed if the concert is completely cancelled (headliner does not perform) due to severe weather and the festival is not rescheduled. You can check back here for updates if severe weather is anticipated.

    WHERE IS THE CONCERT?

    • OFF NORTH SHORE: SKOKIE MUSIC FESTIVAL will take place at on the east field at Skokie Sports Park, located at 3459 Oakton St., Skokie, IL 60076. Map, directions and parking details can be found HERE.

     

    WHAT ARE MY PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS?

    • Full transportation and parking details can be found HERE.
    • PARKING: is free on-site and will be open one hour before festival gates open. VIP premium parking is also available.
    • PUBLIC TRANSIT: CTA options are plentiful. the 97 bus stops right in front of the festival grounds.
    • BIKING: If biking, plenty of racks are available at the Skokie Sports Park entrance just west of the festival grounds.

     

    HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

    • You may purchase tickets HERE or in person at the North Shore Center box office located at 9501 Skokie Boulevard (Tue-Sat: 11am-5pm or until showtime on shownights at the facility; Sun opens two hours before showtime on show days). Tickets WILL ONLY be available at the festival grounds on the days of the festival one hour before gates open with an additional $5 added to the ticket price.

     

    CAN I GET A REFUND?

    • Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Please note: refunds will only be processed if the concert is completely cancelled due to severe weather and the festival is not rescheduled.

     

    WHEN DO THE GATES OPEN?

    • Gates open at 4pm on Friday, June 21 and 2pm on Saturday, June 22.

     

    IS THERE RE-ENTRY?

    • Unfortunately, re-entry will not be permitted once you leave the festival grounds.

     

    ARE THERE SAFETY PROTOCOLS?

    • Off North Shore Festival will provide all guests, performers and employees with enhanced safety procedures including the screening of all guests and their clear carry-in bags or small clutch purses for any prohibited items. We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light. Each guest must have a ticket, pass or credential to gain entrance to the festival.  All guests are subject to visual inspections of all purses or bags as well as hand-held metal detection screenings.

     

    ARE BAGS ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS?

    • Purses or bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are not permitted.  Diaper bags and medical bags will be permitted and subject to search.  Clear bags are required to keep the entry process moving quickly.  Guests may return any prohibited items to their vehicle or dispose of the items prior to entering.  Venue staff will not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.

     

    AM I ABLE TO TRANSFER MY TICKETS?

    • Ticket transfers are permitted using your Ticketmaster account. Feel free to contact the box office if you have questions.

     

    I LOST MY HARD-COPY TICKETS. WHAT DO I DO?

    • Before the days of the festival, you can stop by the box office and they can provide you with replacement tickets. On the day of the performances, stop by the box office at the festival grounds to get assistance. Please remember to present valid ID and form of payment used.

     

    WHAT IS THE WEATHER POLICY?

    • The festival will go on rain or shine. Please plan accordingly. Refunds will only be processed if the concert is completely cancelled (headliner does not perform) due to severe weather and the festival is not rescheduled.     DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

    • Credit & Debit Cards are the preferred method of payment at box office and concessions. Merchandise and food vendors may choose to accept cash.

     

    IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION ON THIS SHOW?

    • No. Is it worth noting that all patrons entering the festival grounds must be ticketed, regardless of age. Strollers are not permitted on the festival grounds.

     

    IS SEATING AVAILABLE?

    • The festival is on an expansive sports field so folding & camping chairs and picnic blankets are allowed. Please be aware and courteous to all festival attendees. The grounds are ADA accessible. Please contact the box office at 847-673-6300 for additional information and assistance.

     

    WHAT FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE AVAILABLE?

    • Our concessions operation will provide a full selections of beer, wine, and pre-made cocktails as well as non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be an assortment of concession snacks. Additionally, food trucks will be available throughout each day. Check back for a lineup of vendors once those are announced. Outside food, drink and coolers will NOT be permitted on the festival grounds.

     

    WHAT’S YOUR PHOTO AND VIDEO POLICY?

    • Note: Photo policies are at the discretion of the performer and may change from night-to-night.
    • North Shore Center’s general policy is: Professional cameras, designated as any devices with detachable lenses, are prohibited. Flash is prohibited on all devices.

     

    ITEMS PROHIBITED AT OFF NORTH SHORE: SKOKIE MUSIC FESTIVAL

    • Air horns, speakers, noisemakers, whistles, fireworks or similar items
    • Animals, except for certified service animals assisting guests with disabilities
    • Backpacks, large bags, suitcases or sealed or wrapped packages
    • Balloons, beach balls or other inflatable items
    • Bottles, cans, thermoses, flasks – or any similar containers
    • Computers, laptops or tablets
    • Cameras with detachable lenses
    • Diaper bags and medical bags ARE permitted but are subject to visual inspection.
    • Drones or other model aircraft
    • Drugs (illegal), including paraphernalia
    • Face paint and costume-type face masks (medical face masks allowed)
    • Flag poles or any support frames for banners/signs
    • Food or beverage of any kind (except for factory-sealed bottled water)
    • Hazardous materials including chemicals and aerosol cans
    • Large Umbrellas
    • Laser pointers, laser products, flashlights
    • Selfie sticks, tripods or monopods
    • Signs, posters, banners
    • Skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, skate shoes or bicycles
    • Vaping, e-cigarettes – smoking zones are designated
    • Video or audio recording devices
    • Weapons of any kind; including but not limited to knives, guns, box cutters, pocketknives, blades, tools, mace, pepper spray, explosives, brass knuckles, stun guns, handcuffs, sticks, clubs, batons, and anything else the staff deems unacceptable.
    • Any item management deems a safety hazard or that would diminish the guest experience, including signs or garments deemed offensive

    North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie does not assume responsibility for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the festival weekend. Any lost and found items of value will be held at the North Shore Center box office for 60 days after the event. Please call 847-673-6300 to check for an item and/or arrange reclaiming lost items.
