The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie (NSCPAS) is conveniently located on Chicago’s vibrant North Shore, approximately 30 minutes from the Loop. The area features numerous dining options, excellent hotels, and some of the finest shopping in the nation. When coming to a show, we hope you will visit one of the many fine restaurants in the area before or after the performance. There is a wide variety of restaurants within a few blocks of the theatre providing a choice for every palate and every budget. For a list of dining options click here.

If you are traveling from outside the area you will find several hotels in close proximity. Located right next door to the NSCPAS is the recently renovated Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center Chicago North Shore. The hotel features 359 guest rooms and suites, an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, executive meeting center and on-site dining.

Across the street from the NSCPAS is one of the Chicago area’s most popular shopping and dining destinations -- Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center. The center features department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s and specialty stores such as The Apple Store, Crate & Barrel and L.L. Bean.
